Goal
Rehabilitate an underutilized and neglected landmark property ideally located in downtown Carrboro, into an appealing and marketable multi-tenant space.
Morris Commercial Approach
- Conduct site plan and market feasibility studies to confirm decision to purchase property and proceed with idea.
- Create LLC entity to purchase, design and rehabilitate the property that was originally built as a drycleaners.
- Attract an eclectic group of tenants that would demonstrate the “best fit” for the property and enrich the experience of Downtown Carrboro.
The Result
Successful adaptive reuse of a tired and obsolete structure into a fresh new space for Downtown Carrboro. A profitable joint venture investment for committed local investors and Morris Commercial.
