Granville Medical Center - Oxford, NC
Goal
Successfully respond to a RFP from Granville County Medical Center for the design and development of a 10,000 sf medical office building to be constructed adjacent to the Granville County Hospital.
Morris Commercial Approach
- Acquire land, gain site plan approval and design building following selection by Granville County Medical Center.
- Design building to provide 5,000 sf for Triangle Orthopedics, assisting in their relocation from nearby obsolete space; and 5,000 sf for other medical practitioners providing services to the hospital.
- Assemble the architect, civil engineer and general contractor to successfully develop the project.
The Result
Medical office building delivered “on time” and “on budget” to Granville Medical. Negotiated a fifteen year lease term with management services provided by Morris Commercial as owner.
